Taken from the 73rd Floor Observation Area of the Columbia Centre

Columbia Center is 937 feet high with 76 stories.  The Smith Tower is 489 feet high with 38 stories.  Completed in 1914, Smith Tower was once the tallest office building west of the Mississippi River.  It was tallest on the West Coast until the Space Needle was built in 1962.
