Artist: John Spence, who has/had works displayed in Great Britain
This artist had only one item displayed as of 1979 and I like it second best of the ones so far. Does obscurity innately appeal to me? Of course, since 1979, most of these artists have no doubt produced many more works, one or the other being shown practically everywhere at any given time. Perhaps the artists with few works displayed in 1979 were younger, some just starting out. (What did they do to get noticed?)
