This is the unadorned atrium of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in San Francisco, currently festooned with strings of Christmas lights hanging from the ceiling.  Behind them are (barely) visible the hotel’s glass elevators, which are plainly visible in the photo above.  I’d like to know how they went about getting those lights that far up there. It’s a lovely hotel.
